The Man, The Myth, The Legend: THE JERK!
Or
as the Democratic Government of the United States prefers to address him, Jay
Fendrick. A graduate of Rutgers University with a BA in Politics, Jay has been a
lifelong sports fan and equally, a lifelong jerk dating as far back as when he
cursed out his principal on the very first day of kindergarten and they called
his mother to come and pick him up . He maintained this hard nosed, edgy
attitude through school while playing just about every sport imaginable!
Whether it be on the court or on the field, Jay did it all. He was never the fastest, the tallest, or the best, but he always had heart. Finally realizing that his knack wasn't for playing sports, Jay instead began covering and commenting on sports and the athletes who played them. Though he did eventually return to live action and had a successful Intramurals career at Rutgers, he later re-retired to become a semi-professional Madden Player during his last few years of college. Now working as a Human Resources Executive, Jay's passion for sports mixed with his uncanny wit, willingness to say what needs to be said, and sensational writing abilities have combined to form the brainchild behind this website. Jay has also enlisted the talents of most of his loved ones to be columnists for this site, attempting to follow the age old adage by "keeping it in the family". What happens from here on out, nothing is for sure. But maybe YOU can help to decide the future! Spread the word to friends, family, strangers, enemies, random people, and whoever else you can worldwide. If everyone does their part, THE SPORTS JERK dot COM will get a big enough buzz to take things to another level. The hits have been racking up more and more week after week, and before you know it we will be the Next Big Thing!!!

there is a newsworthy story involving the Eagles or we are in the game of the
